The Government has blocked access to Facebook, Twitter, and
YouTube and these social media services remain down in Pakistan after
widespread criticism over the arrest of former prime minister and Pakistan
Tehreek- e- Insaf chairman (PTI), Imran Khan.
PTI Chairman, Imran Khan, was arrested from Islamabad High
Court ( IHC) by Rangers personnel, who had an arrest warrant issued by the
National Accountability Bureau ( NAB ) in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
Many users have reported degraded internet services across
the country, especially as they attempted to access to different social media
platform.
However, the Government has completely blocked access to
Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube and these services remain down in Pakistan.
